About the Conference

It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the second annual Multidisciplinary Care for IBD (MCIBD) symposium. This meeting is entitled, Mind and Gut: The conundrum of chronic illness and is the second in a series of Continuing Health Education initiatives for the Northern Alberta physicians and health care providers who manage IBD. In order to facilitate collaboration and exchange of evidence-based strategies and guidelines to use in clinical practice, the meeting will bring together members of the multi-disciplinary team involved in the daily care of people with IBD to examine some of the mental health implications associated with chronic illness.
